Mountain Vacation Looks

For our getaway at the Biltmore in Asheville, I wanted to make sure I was warm and cozy but also still looked cute. (Even when all I wanted to wear was the fuzzy robe in the room) Look Day #1

First Night’s look…

Can you believe these orchids are real? These beauties are one of multiple orchid arrangements in the lobby of the Inn on Biltmore Estate. This outfit was perfect for a bottle of wine at the winery followed by a casual dinner in downtown Ashville at Limones.

My favorite skinny jeans hands down…

My jeans are my new favorites from Good American. Khloe Kardashian really hit it out of the park with these jeans y’all!

This pair is called Good Waist High Waist Raw Hem Ankle Skinny Jeans. They are available in multiple sizes at Nordstrom. Also, my favorite part about these jeans is you get to size down! What woman doesn’t love that? They are a bit pricey at $165.00 but let me tell you, it is money well spent. These jeans make your butt, legs and waist look amazing! Trust me. You need these in your closet! Click the image to purchase.

The most versatile cardigan for spring, fall and winter…

My chunky knit puff sleeve sweater came from a local Charlotte boutique but I have linked a similar one for you from Chicwish:

This sweater from Chicwish is $75 and I think you will wear it constantly like I have the past 3 years! Click the photo to purchase.

The perfect nude pump…

I love pairing skinny jeans with a basic white camisole and nude heels. My nude heels are Jeffrey Campbell but I have linked a similar shoe from Sam Edelman.

I also own this shoe and it is so comfortable and the heel height is perfect for a short gal like myself. I wear these to court and for a night out. This Hazel Pointy Toe Pump is available in multiple colors but I own it in the blush patent and the nude leather. Both are classic and will never fo out of style. Not to mention a nude heel makes your legs look fantastic! Click the photo to purchase.

Because a handbag is a girl’s best friend…

My bag is from Vintage Boho Bags and it is hands down my favorite bag that I own! You need to check out her page. They repurpose previously owned Louis Vuitton bags nee life and I am obsessed with everything they create! This is one of my favorites from the collection.

To kick of International Women’s Day…

I decided to mix it up with patterns and texture for our second night in Asheville. First we hit Battery Park Book Exchange for champs and shopping for the newest edition to my book collection. After enjoying some live music at the bookstore, we had a dinner at Zambras before heading back to the Inn on Biltmore for a nightcap with some old friends. This outfit was comfy but also a little flirty while also being warm!

I LIVE in these Spanx Faux Fur Leggings! If you don’t have a pair in your wardrobe, get a pair. They hug you in all the right places and suck in what needs to be sucked in (read: c-section pouch). They are also super slimming.

You can dress these leggings up or down. I paired mine with a simple grey cashmere sweater with a camouflage coat layered on top. Pair with an animal print and you are ready to go. My exact boots are available here, but I have also linked a cheaper option as well below.

Don’t be afraid to mix patterns and express yourself. Be you! Also, if someone ever tells you not to wear leggings as pants, you don’t need that kind of negativity in your life.

If you liked the looks in this post you can shop all of them here!

Happy shopping friends!

XO,

Lauren
